Agent System

Overview of Agents

Tncfourt integrates a diverse range of Agents, operated by Infrastructure Participants and Builders, deployed on machines like General Purpose Instances. These Agents are pivotal for maintaining the network's liveness and security, tasked with gathering and consolidating data for Circuits and the Controller.

Types of Agents in Tncfourt

  • Transmitters: Responsible for compiling and aggregating data from various sources. This includes real-world data fetched via APIs and blockchain data via RPCs.

  • Conductors: Execute verified operations on target blockchains. Their role is crucial for an additional layer of data verification.

  • Observers: Although not detailed here, they play a vital role in overseeing network operations and ensuring compliance.

Transmitters

  • Function: Aggregate and reach consensus on data for cross-chain message transmission.

  • Security & Consensus: Employ Delegated Proof-of-Stake mechanism, deterring malicious activities through slashing.

  • Configuration Options for Distributors: a. Employ approved Transmitters with staked TNF tokens and completed KYC/KYB. b. Utilize Customized Transmitters operated by third parties.

  • Capabilities: Can serve multiple Distributors simultaneously, limited by hardware capabilities. They exclusively deliver information to the Tncfourt Controller.

  • Process Flow: The process involves several steps, from a message request by a protocol to the execution of operations after verification by the Controller and Conductor Agents.

Conductors

  • Role: Execute or abort operations

on destination blockchains based on the verification done by the Controller.

  • Verification Process: Conductors carry out an additional layer of verification to ensure the integrity and accuracy of operations to be executed.

  • Operational Choices: Their functions are streamlined to either execute or abort the message based on the received instructions.

Operational Flow of Conductors

  • Diagram Illustration: The role of Conductors is visually represented, demonstrating how they function within the Tncfourt ecosystem.

  • Process Summary: Conductors receive data from Transmitters, validate it, and then either carry out or abort the operation based on the received consensus.

Potential for Participation

  • Transmitter Node Operation: For those interested in actively participating in the Tncfourt network, detailed information and guidelines are available for setting up and running Transmitter Nodes.

In essence, Tncfourt's Agent system is a robust framework, integrating Transmitters and Conductors to ensure secure, efficient, and accurate data processing and operation execution across multiple blockchains. This system plays a crucial role in maintaining the network's integrity and advancing Tncfourt's vision of a unified and optimized Web3 ecosystem.
